How does Tails.com work?
At Tails.com, we create a personalised meal plan for your dog. To get started, we need to understand a few things about your dog’s health, lifestyle and ingredient preferences. These questions should take about two minutes to answer, and it's worth it to get their kibble just right. Next, our nutrition experts get to work. Crafting your dog’s 100% tailored kibble blend from over a million possible combinations. You can also add delicious wet food, dental chews and training treats to their box – all factored into their meal plan to keep them in great shape. We deliver everything directly to your door monthly, so you’ll never run out.
How is the food tailored?
Your dog’s food is tailored based on the detailed information you provide about your dog. This includes their age, breed, weight, activity level, any allergies or sensitivities and specific health goals (like joint support, sensitive digestion or weight management). We use these details to formulate a kibble blend that’s 100% tailored to your dog's exact nutritional requirements, ensuring they get the right balance of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals they need to thrive. Think glucosamine for joints, linseed for a healthy coat or beet pulp for firmer poos.
How often will I get deliveries?
When you first sign up with us we will send you a trial box so your dog can transition onto their new tasty food. After that, you’ll receive orders on a monthly basis, however, you’re in complete control of your account and can pause or cancel at any time.
*Please note: For puppies under 14 weeks, we always supply fortnightly deliveries instead of monthly so we can make lots of changes to their recipes as they are growing.
How much will my order cost?
Just like your dog’s food, your monthly price will be tailored depending on your dog’s requirements, you’ll be able to see full details of your ongoing monthly price before you checkout!
How do I pay for my order?
You can pay for your deliveries by card or through Paypal.
How do I cancel my order?
Our monthly subscription is really flexible so you’re in control of your orders. You can pause or cancel your order at any time!
*Please note: make sure you check the ‘last date for changes’ for your next delivery. Due to the way each unique recipe is made, we can’t cancel an existing delivery once it’s in progress.
Do you offer free trials?
We love meeting new dogs, and we love seeing the results tailored nutrition achieves. So we occasionally offer promotions for new customers, such as a discount on your first box (e.g., 50% off) or a certain number of meals free. While not always a 'free' trial, these offers allow you to see the benefits for your dog at a reduced price for your first month. Keep an eye on our website for current promotions.
