If we don't get your dog's tails.com recipe right the first time, we’ll happily reblend it using other flavours they might prefer.
It can also take time to adjust to a new food, and we want to make it as easy as possible for your dog. Here are some tips to make those first few meals easier:
- Cut down – Cut back on treats and scraps in-between meals, as this can mean they have less of an appetite for their main meal.
- Mix it up – Help bring out the tasty smells by warming the kibble up in the microwave for a few seconds. Or add a little warm water, a low-salt gravy or watered down Marmite.
- Routine – Try feeding once a day in the evening, removing uneaten food after 15 minutes. Do this for a few days, with no scraps! (Puppies need to be fed more often).
Try a reblend – If your dog still doesn’t like their new food, we can reblend from different ingredients with different tastes that are still nutritionally optimised for your dog. Get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
