Where can I store my dog's dry food?
Your dog’s dry food should be stored somewhere cool and dry. Once the bag has been opened, it should be securely resealed after each use to keep the food as fresh as possible.
Can I freeze my dry food?
Freezing is a good way of storing your kibbles in order to retain their nutrients (in an airtight container).
However, we wouldn't recommend keeping it frozen for longer than 3-6 months, as you want to prevent ice build-up and maintaining the kibbles texture is important. Please be aware that when you defrost the kibbles, they are more likely to lose their crunchy texture.
If you would like to freeze the kibbles, we recommend proportioning them into daily rations, so you only have to defrost what your dog will eat in a day. Failure to do so, can resort in larger amounts defrosting and getting mouldy through the additional moisture.
