Regular orders: How billing works
We typically attempt to take payment for your dog’s Tails.com order 1 to 2 days before your delivery window begins.
To check your dates: Log into your online Dashboard to view both your upcoming billing date and delivery window.
To change your payment date: Simply adjust your delivery date. Once you select a new delivery date, your updated billing date will automatically reflect on your Dashboard.
Orders already in progress: How to delay payment
If a payment fails or an order is already being processed, you can still delay the payment date by following these quick steps:
Log into your online Dashboard.
Find the error message and click 'View details'.
On the upcoming delivery page, select 'Delay this delivery'.
Choose your new billing and delivery date.
Click 'Update' to save your changes.
⚠️ Important Note: If a payment doesn't go through, we will automatically try to charge your card several times. If these attempts continue to fail, that specific order will be cancelled. However, your ongoing subscription will remain active unless you choose to pause or cancel it yourself.
