Our Worming Treatment
Our Tails.com worming treatment comes in tablet form and contains Praziquantel, Pyrantel embonate, and Febantel as active ingredients.
This formulation provides robust protection against the most common intestinal roundworms and tapeworms affecting UK dogs. Because your dog's needs can change, the contents of your monthly box vary to ensure they are always fully protected.
Does this treatment protect against lungworm?
No, our worming tablet does not cover lungworm. Lungworm is found across the UK (and is particularly common in the South-East). It is transmitted when dogs eat infected slugs, snails, or even lick their slime trails.
Tip: Avoid leaving your dog's favourite toys, chews, or water bowls out in the garden overnight, as slugs and snails love to crawl on them!
If your dog is a known scavenger or prone to crunching down on snails, we highly recommend speaking to your local vet to arrange separate lungworm coverage.
Switching to Tails.com Wormer
I recently treated my pet for worms. Can I start your treatment?
Yes, but you need to wait a short period for your dog's safety:
General Rule: Wait at least two weeks after administering any other worming medication before giving your dog the Tails.com tablet.
If you are unsure about the timing or what medication they previously took, please check with your vet.
